Experiences at Jcpenney portrait studio
After my fourth trip to this studio, I will not return. During the holiday rush, they continue to schedule portrait sessions for every 10 minutes, not nearly enough time to have a photo & not create a backlog of other customers. Additionally, the manager was also the photographer -- there was an irate customer that the manager/photog had to deal with and let his post as photographer, further creating a backlog. I waited 45 minutes to be photographed (and had an appt) and then another 40 minutes to view the photos. Far too much time with a 1yr old in a portrait studio.
Pictures of the Jcpenney portrait studio were okay, but the photographer did not listen to what I wanted & pressured me (in front of other customers) to buy more pictures. I found the pictures to be overpriced. I was also annoyed that they charged so much to put the pictures on-line AND it took TWO WEEKS for the pictures to be on-line! I only went once & will never go back.

You usually have to wait but it is worth it! When you join their club yo can get Jcpenney portraits packages for under $10 with coupons. I have always been happy with our pictures here. The staff is very friendly.
I had THE worst experience there 2 Sundays ago. We made an appointment for 1:30pm and did not get called until 2:15pm! By that time my daughter was exhausted and cranky from sitting around for an hour (they ask you to arrive 15 minutes before your appointment). The woman who helped us was not friendly at all and acted like it was no big deal that we had to wait nearly an hour. When I told her that I selected 1:30pm specifically b/c it is in between nap times she scoffed it off and was really rude. I will NEVER go to a JCPenney portrait studio again!
